A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

This "game" could more be thought of as an art demo. I'm planning on making a game with this space and art style that has actual game mechanics. But for now, I wanted to share this as it is since it could be a fun liminal space without the mechanics and monsters I intend to add.

Controls:

WASD - move

Mouse - Look

F - toggle flashlight

Shift - sprint

Escape - toggle mouse capture (allows you to maximize the window or close out of it)

A word of warning, this is a fairly rough example, I don't consider it my finest work because I put almost zero effort into accessibility and quality of life features. This was a sprint demo I made in my free time over two days (while sick! yay me!)

The demonstration represents an unfinished product and judging just from what I've seen, it has a great potential.

Most of all, the sound design seems to shine better than the actual game design. I really liked the feel of snow and the environment was immersive enough to keep me wondering around for a while. I would say, as a suggestion, adding some notes or a bit more gameplay for the final version would definitely improve the quality. As I said, for the demo, it was solid.

Best of luck with this project and future in general. Cheers!

I really appreciate your feedback! I do intend to make some “proper” game-play mechanics (objectives, threats, resources, etc…) I am super glad to hear that the experience was compelling enough as it is. Liminal Spaces and Walking Sims are not really my favourite, but I was hoping some people could enjoy this. So I’m glad to hear you were able to
